Santa Clara County Council (SCCC) cordially invites you to the 2011 Basic Scout Leader Training in Chinese. The course consists of an SM/ASM specific course and an Outdoor Leader Skills (OLS) course. Upon com-pletion of both courses, you will be certified as a “Trained” adult leader, thereby earning a “Trained” patch. For Cub leaders, we offer a Cub Leader Specific (CLS) course to tailor your needs.
To aid participants in a better understanding of Scouting Aims and Methods, these courses will be conducted mainly in Mandarin Chinese. The courses follow the BSA training syllabus very closely, in spite of its Chinese focus. This course sequence is part of the Council’s scheduled courses. All Cub/Boy Scout adult leaders are welcome.
